operating instruc tions. Ad just only those controls that are cover ed by the
operating instructions as improp er adjustment of other contr ols may result in
damage and will often require extens ive work by a qualied techn ician to re-
store the product to its normal op eration; e) if the product h as been dropped
or damaged in any way; f) when the product exhibits a distinc t change in
performance—this in dicates a need for ser vice.
Replacement Pa rts: W hen repla cement p arts ar e require d, be sure t hat
your service technician has used replac ement parts spe cied by the man u-
facturer or have the same ch aracteristics as the original part. Unautho rized
substitutions may result in re, el ectric shock, or ot her hazards.
Safety Check: Upon com pletion of any ser vice or repairs t o this p roduct,
ask the service technician t o perform safet y checks to ensure that the prod-
uct is in proper operating condi tion.
Wall or C eiling Mounting: The product should be mounte d to a wa ll or
ceiling only as recommended by th e manufacturer.
Heat: The product should be situated away from heat sources su ch as ra-
diators, heat regi sters, stoves, or other products (including ampliers) t hat
produce heat.
