•Propane is heavier than air and can accumulate in low places. If you smell gas, leave the area immediately.
•Always attach or detach propane source outdoors; never while oven is lighted, near flame, pilot lights, other ignition sources or while oven is hot to touch.
•This oven is very hot during use and can ignite flammables too close to the burner. Keep flammables at least 12 inches from the sides and 48 inches from the top of the oven. Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids and vapors well away from oven.
•The oven must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting.

Electronic Ignition Oven
■Set on sturdy, flat surface. For outdoor use only.
■Open oven door. Oven door must be open during lighting.
■Turn the control knob
repeatedly until burner lights. (Fig. 10 and 11) NOTE: If igniter fails to light oven, use match to light burner. If the oven is wet the igniter may
not spark.

■Open the door to view the burner flame below the crumb tray.
■Flame should be blue with a hint of yellow on tips.
■Adjust flame with the control knob. (Fig. 12)

Match Lighting
CAUTION
Use a LONG wooden match or a match extension.
■Set on sturdy, flat surface. For outdoor use only.
■Open oven door. Oven door must be open during lighting.
■Hold lighted match near burner (beneath the crumb tray) and turn the control knob counter- clockwise to the fully open position.

To Bake
■Use household baking dishes that withstand normal oven temperatures.
■The cooking temperature is not automatically regulated.
■Use the thermometer as a guide and manually adjust the temperature with the control knob.
■Continuously monitor the baking process while using the oven. Adjust the temperature and rotate the baking dish as necessary.
■Follow the recommended food preparation instructions on food packages.
■Cooking times may vary depending on weather conditions and altitude.
To Toast
■Turn oven fully on.
■All rack positions may be used for toasting. Experience shows the upper levels tend to reduce time required and minimize the need for flipping the food.
