Anextensioncord should not be used unless
absolutelynecessary. Use of improper
extension cord could result in a risk of fire and

damaged in any way; take itto a qualified

Do not disassemble charger;take it to a
qualified serviceman when service or repair is
required. Incorrect reassemblymay resultin a

TOreduce riskof eleotncshock, unplugcharger
from outletbefore attemptingany maintenance
or cleaning. Turningoff controlswill not reduce

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RECHARGING BATTERIES

When usingyour screwdrivercontinuously,the batteries in your screwdriverwill become hot.Youshould let your
screwdrivercool downfor approximately30 minutes before attemptingto recharge.
Note: This situationonly occurswhen continuoususe of your screwddver causes the batteries to become hot. It
does not occur under normal circumstances. Refer to "CHARGING YOUR SCREWDRIVER" for normal
rechargingof batteries. If the charger does not charge your screwddver under normal circumstances,returnboth
the screwdriverand charger to your nearest Sears repair center for electr_,alcheck.
