BRUSH REPLACEMENT

BRUSH
Your saw has externally accessible brush assemblies
that should be periodicallychecked for wear.
Proceed as follows when replacement is required:.
Unplug your saw.
&WARNING: Failure to unplug your saw could
resultin accidental starting causing serious
injury.
Remove brush cap with a screwdriver. Brush
assembly is spring loaded and willpop out when
you remove brush cap.
Remove brushassembly.
Check for wear. Ifworn, always replace inpairs.
Do not replace one side without replacingthe
other.
Reassemble using new brush assemblies. Make
sure curvature of brushmatches curvature of
motor and that brush moves freely in brush tube,
,D Make sure brush cap is oriented correctly
BRUSH (straight) and replace.
CAP Tighten brush cap securely. Do not overtighten.
