assemble all partsto your sawbefore connecting
it to power supply. Saw should never be
connected to power supply when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, installing
or removing blades, or when not inuse.
As mentioned previously your saw has been factory
assembled and adjusted. The miter lock handle, dust
guide, and blade are the onlyparts that haveto be
installed.

To install the miter lock handle, place the threaded
studon the end of the miter lock handle intothe
threaded hole in the controlarm. Turn clockwise to
tighten.

To install the dust guide, placethe end marked
INSERT over the exhaust port inthe upper blade
guard. Turn the guide so that the open end is facing
down Ortoward the rear of the saw.

TO INSTALL BLADE

WARNING: A 10 in. blade is the maximum
blade capacity of your saw, Never use ablade
that istoo thick toallow outer blade washer to
engage with the fiatson thespindle. Larger
blades will come incontact withthe b/ade
guards, while thicker blades willprevent the
blade screw from securing the blade onthe
spindle. Either of thesesituations could result in
aserious accident and can cause serious
personal injury.
I= Unplug your saw.

Push down on the sew arm and pull out the lock
pinto release sew arm. Raise sew arm to its full
raised position. Be cautious, saw arm is spring
loaded to raise.
Loosen the phillips screw onthe bladebolt
cover until blade boltcover can be raised.

Gently raise the lowerblade guard bracket,
releasing lower blade guardfrom notch sothat
lower blade guard and blade bolt covercan be
rotated up and backto exposethe blad e bolt. See
Figures 10and 11.
