•Look for decay and rot. If the trunk is rotted,itcan snap and fall toward the operator,

•Check for broken or dead branches which can fall on you while cutting.

•Be extremely cautious with partially fallen treesthat may be poorlysupported. When a tree doesn'tfallcompletely, set the saw aside and pull down the tree w_tha cable winch, blockand tackle, or tractor.To avoid injury,do not cut down a Dartially fallen tree with your saw.
