er to gasoline in fuel tank or storage container. Always fol- towthe fuel mix ratiofound on the stabilizercontainer. Run
engine at teast5 minutes afteradding stabilizerto allow the stabilizerto reach the carburetorYou. do not have to drain
the fuel tankfor storageifyou are using fuel stabilizer.

GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN OIL
For maximum guide bar and chain life,we recommendyou use Craftsman chain saw bar oil. if Craftsmanbar oil is not
available, you may use a goodgrade SAE30 oiluntilyou are able to obtain Craftsman brand,The oi! outputis automati- cally metered during operation.Your saw will use approxi- mately one tank of bar oil for everytank of fuel mix. Always fill the bar oil tank when you fill the fuel tank.
GASOLINE
The
type will cause poor performanceand may causethe engine to overheat and seize.
Gasoline and oll must be premixed in a clean approvedfuel container.Always use fresh regularunleadedgasoline.
This engine is certified to operateon unleadedgasoline.
IMPORTANT: Experience indicates that alcohol blended fuels called gasohol (or using ethanol or methanol) can attract moisture, which leads to oil/gasseparation and for- marion of acids during storage.Acidicgas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in storage.To avoid engine
problems, the fuel system shouldbe emptiedbefore storage
£:=?_for 30 days or longer, Drain the gas tank, then run the fuel out of the carburetor and fuel lines by starting the engine and letting it run until it stops. Use fresh fuel next season. See STORAGE instructionsfor additionalinformation.Never
use engine or carburetor cleaner productsin the fuel tank or permanent damage may occur.

•AUTOMOTIVE OIL
•BOAT OILS (NMMA, BIA, etc.)
These oils do not have proper additives for
GASOLINE AND OIL MIXTURE
•MIX GASOLINE AND OIL AS FOLLOWS:
•Consultchart for correctquantities.
•Do not mix gasolineand oil directlyin the unit'sfuel tank,
FOR ONE GALLON:
•Pour 3,2 ounces of high quality,40:1
•Add one gallon of regular unleaded gasoline to the gallon container,then securelyreplace the cap.
•Shake the corttainet'momentadly.
•The mixture is now ready for use. Fuel stabilizer can be added at this time if desired;follow mixing instructionson the label+
