ethanol or methanol (called gasohol or oxygenated fuel), can attract moistureand form acidic gas which willdamage your engine. To avoid engine problems, the fuet system should be emptied beforestorage of 30 days or longer.

Fue! stabilizer is an acceptable alternative in minimizing the formation of fuel gum deposits during storage. Add sta- bilizer to the gasolinein the fuel tank or fuel storage con- tainer.Always follow the mix instructionsfound on stabilizer containers.Run engine at least 5 minutes after adding sta- bilizer to allow the stabilizerto reach the carburetor.

CRAFTSMAN 40:1 2-cycle engine oil (AIR-COOLED) is specially blended with fuel stabilizer. If you do not use this Sears oil, you can add a fuel stabilizer to your fuel tank.
