PREPARATION

• Alwayswear safetyglassesor safetygogglesduringoperation
andwhile performinganadjustmentorrepair,to protectyour
eyes.Thrownobjectswhichricochetcancause seriousinjuryto
theeyes.
• Wearsturdy,rough-soledworkshoesandclose-fittingslacksand
shirts.Loosefittingclothesor jewelrycanbe caughtin movable
parts.Neveroperatethismachineinbare feetor sandals.Wear
leatherworkgloveswhenfeedingmaterialinthe chipperchute.
• Beforestarting,checkallboltsand screwsfor propertightnessto
besurethe machineis in safeworkingcondition.Also,visually
inspectmachineforanydamageat frequentintervals.
• Maintainorreplacesafetyandinstructionslabels,asnecessary.
