Defining System Information

The System Information Page provides device information about specific stacking members. To view system information:

1.Click Configuration > System Information. The System Information Page opens:

The System Information Page contains the following fields:

Field

Unit ID

MAC Address

Firmware Version

Hardware Version

System Contact

System Name

System Location

Login Timeout (minutes)

Description

Displays the stack unit ID.

Displays the MAC address assigned to the device

Displays the stacking member’s software version number.

Displays the stacking member’s hardware version number.

Defines the name of the contact person. The field range is 0-160 characters.

Defines the user-defined system name.

Defines the location where the system is currently running. The field range is 0-160 characters.

Defines the amount of time the device times out when no user activity occurs. The default is 10 minutes.

2.Define the System Name field.

3.Define the System Location and Login Timeout (minutes) fields.

4.Click Figure 2-2 System Information Page. The system information is defined, and the device is updated.
