About AVC
This function performs an Automatic Volume Control Function. The sound signal conditions coming out of TV stations are different from each other. Some signals are intense and other not. When the AVC is on, uniform sound can be ensured regardless of the conditions of TV station.
Setting “SURROUND” function
You can hear surround sound when stereo broadcasting is receiving or external input sound is stereo.
1With the TV turned on, press the MENU button until “SOUND” menu will be displayed.
2Use the VCHW buttons select “SURROUND” item.
3Use the CVOLB buttons turn on/off the function.
Adjust Bass or Treble
1With the TV turned on, press the MENU button until, “SOUND” menu will be displayed.
2Use the VCHW buttons select “Bass or Treble” item.
3Press the CVOLB buttons to adjust the level.

Adjusting the Balance
1With the TV turned on, press the MENU button until “Sound” menu will be displayed.
2Use the VCHW buttons select “Balance” item.
3Press the VOLB button to decrease the left speaker volume.
4Press the CVOL button to decrease the right speaker volume.
5Press the MENU button twice or wait few seconds to return to normal TV viewing.
6Your setting will remain intact until you change it. Your TV will then automatically reproduce either stereo or monaural sound, whichever is broadcast.
