AUDIO Setup

A user may select audio menu according to a user’s speaker set.

■Before setting it, you should change status into DVD by pressing [DVD] button on the remote control.

1 While DISC STOP or Resume STOP, press [SETUP/ENTER] button.

2	Select a digital output.
		Language	Video		Audio			Others
	Set output conditions to coaxial or optical	Digital Out		Bitstream			Bitstream
	terminal. You can set following three(3) values of	Dual Mono		Stereo			PCM
		Dynamic Range Off					Off
	digital output;
	• Bitstream: The same signal as audio signal
	recorded in disc goes to digital audio output	Move:	Select :			Exit:Setup/Return
	terminal.

•PCM: Decoded audio signal goes to digital output terminal.

•Off: Not any output goes to digital audio output terminal.

3 Select Dual Mono.

Dual Mono means 2 individual mono channels. Dual Mono is mainly used to apply 2 different languages to one program. This function is similar to multichannel sound function supported in TV or VCR. 2 mono channels can be combined into total 4 values; Stereo, L- Mono, R- Mono and Mixed Mono.

Move: Select : Exit:Setup/Return

•Stereo: outputs left channel and right channel to left speaker and right speaker respectively.

•L- Mono: outputs left channel to left speaker and right speaker.

•R-Mono:outputs right channel to left speaker and right speaker.

•Mixed Mono: mixes 2 mono channels and outputs the mixed channel to left and right speaker at the same time.
