Command line parameters for the ECA

-W

Show a communication window when the ECA is started. Don’t use

 

this parameter in normal use.

-COMx

Specifies the COM port to use. COM1 to COM4 are valid entries.

 

When the COM port is specified, the ‘Select COM port’ popup is

 

disabled.

Advanced settings CUI

1After the CUI has been installed, the CUI shortcut is placed on the Desktop and in the start folder.

To access advanced settings remove the command line parameter in the shortcut selecting the com port.

Click the ‘CU Interface’ shortcut

2When starting the ‘CUI Interface’ the following window will then appear:

The COM ports, which are available, will be highlighted.

3Pressing the ‘Tools’ menu brings the following two choices:

4Creating Database Connections

This window gives the possibility to add more database connections or change the existing ones.
