14. Connect the powercable labeled "HD-B/P" to the connector labeled "POWER" on
thebackplane board.
15. Connect the Ultra160/mSCSI cable leading from the connector labeled "SCSI2"
onthe system boardto the connector labeled "SCSIA" on the backplane board.
16. Slidethe system board tray back into the system chassis.
17. Does the new SCSI backplane board have a differentnumber of drive bays?
Yes . Youmust changethe orientation of the two drive bay keysto match the new
backplane.Go to step 18.
No.Go to step 25.
18. Removethe front bezel.
19. Turnthe key in the keylock to lockthe drive locking flange (see Figure 1-3).
With the flange in the lockedposition, you have easier access to the upper drive
bay keyscrews.
