Replacing the Hard Drive(s)

1Check the documentation that shipped with the hard drive to verify that it is configured for your computer.

2Place the hard-drive brackets in position and replace the screws (one on each side) that secure the hard-drive brackets to the hard drive.

3Slide the hard-drive assembly into the hard-drive bay.

4Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the hard-drive bay.

5If you are replacing the primary hard-drive, connect the power and data cables to the primary hard drive.

6If you are replacing the secondary hard-drive:

a Connect the power cable to the primary and secondary hard-drives. b Connect the data cable to the secondary hard-drive.
