7Seleccione a página Boot Order do programa de configuração do sistema. Tome nota do dispositivo actualmente configurado como primeiro (principal) dispositivo de arranque e, em seguida, configure os três primeiros dispositivos da sequência de arranque pela seguinte ordem:

8Guarde as alterações e prima para sair do programa de configuração do sistema e reiniciar o computador a partir do CD.

O computador é iniciado e começa a executar automaticamente o programa de diagnóstico da Dell.

9Quando a execução dos diagnósticos terminar, remova o CD Controladores e utilitários.

10Quando o computador for reiniciado, prima assim que aparecer o ecrã com o logótipo da Dell e antes apareça o ecrã com o logótipo do Microsoft Windows.

11No programa de configuração do sistema, seleccione a página Boot Order e reponha a ordem original da sequência de arranque.

12Prima para sair do programa de configuração do sistema e reiniciar o Microsoft Windows.

13Remova o CD da unidade de CD, CD-RW ou DVD.

Quando iniciar o diagnóstico, aparece o ecrã com o logótipo da Dell, seguido de uma mensagem que informa que os diagnósticos estão a ser carregados. Depois dos diagnósticos estarem carregados, aparece o Menu Diagnósticos.

Para seleccionar uma opção neste menu, destaque a opção e prima ou prima a tecla que corresponde à letra destacada na opção seleccionada.
