Installazione di una batteria

Accertarsi che il sistema sia spento. Fare scorrere la batteria nell'alloggiamento fino a quando la chiusura a scatto scatta in posizione.

Conservazione della batteria

Se non si intende usare il computer per un certo periodo di tempo, rimuovere la batteria. Una batteria si scarica se non la si usa per un periodo prolungato, sarà pertanto necessario ricaricare completamente la batteria prima di utilizzarla.

Soluzione dei problemi

Notebook System Software (NSS)

Se si reinstalla il sistema operativo per il computer, è opportuno reinstallare anche l'utilità NSS. Questa utilità è disponibile nel CD opzionale Drivers and Utilities e sul sito Web del supporto tecnico della Dell.

Per scaricare l'utilità dal sito Web del supporto tecnico della Dell, passare alla sezione Downloads del Sito Web e scegliere il modello del computer dal menu a discesa. Scegliere in Download Category (Categoria di download) "System and Configuration Utilities" (Utilità di sistema e di configurazione), scegliere il sistema operativo e la lingua, quindi seguire le istruzioni visualizzate.

NSS fornisce aggiornamenti importanti per il sistema operativo e supporto per unità disco floppy USB Dell™ da 3,5 pollici, processori Intel® Pentium® M, unità ottiche e periferiche USB. NSS è necessario per il corretto funzionamento del computer Dell. Il software rileva automaticamente il computer e il sistema operativo e installa gli aggiornamenti adeguati alla propria configurazione.

N.B. NSS è importante per il corretto funzionamento delle periferiche USB, tra cui le periferiche Dell D/Bay, D/Dock, D/Port e D/View.
