Connecting Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Cables
Perform this step if your library contains serial attached SCSI (SAS) tape drives.
Use SAS cables to connect the SAS tape drives directly to the host. For each tape drive:
1Connect one end of the SAS cable to the SAS port on the tape drive.
2Connect the other end of the SAS cable directly to the host.
