CLEANING YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR AND PARTS (con’t)

Power Unit: Wipe with a damp cloth, and then dry thoroughly. Ensure that the interlock area is clear of food particles. Store excess cord in the storage area at the back of the machine.

Blender and Food Processor / Chopper: Empty the container of its contents before unscrewing the blade unit. Wash the empty container by hand in warm water with mild detergent, and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Remove and wash the sealing ring by hand in the same manner as the container. Note: Use caution when handling the blades, they are very sharp. Carefully clean the blades by washing them in warm water with mild detergent, and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the blade unit in water. Leave to dry upside down.

Double Whisk Beater: Detach the beaters from the drive head by gently pulling on them. Wash the beaters by hand in warm water with mild detergent, and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the drive head with a damp cloth, and then dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the drive head in water.

Other Parts: Wash by hand in warm water with mild detergent, and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Alternatively, they can be placed in the top rack of your dishwasher.
