BURNER FLAME PATTERN
Check flame pattern often. Figure 12 shows correct burner flame pattern.
NOTICE: Do not mistake orange flames with yellow tipping. Dirt or other fine particles are burned by appliance, causing brief patches of orange flame.
If burner flame pattern is incorrect, as shown in Figure 13

Maintenance
WARNING: Turn off heater and let cool before cleaning.
CAUTION: You must keep control areas, burner and cir- culating air passageways of fireplace clean. Inspect these areas of fireplace before each use. Have fireplace and chimney inspected yearly by a qualified service person. Fireplace may needmore frequent cleaningdue to excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, pet hair, etc.
