Note: Remember that the Directed ESP® Engine incorporates a digital gain control with a finite number of adjustment steps (32). A very small adjustment may not cause any audible changes in output. In addition the range selected may further restrict the adjustment. Extremely quick, large changes may result in audible artifacts, particu- larly on low frequency material as the gain is changing more rapidly than the source electrical wave.
