CARE AND MAINTENANCE
PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT:
1.Remove rear wheel.
2.Swing control levers in to operating position. There must be clearance between the teeth of the brake ratchet and brake sprocket.
3.If adjustment is necessary, loosen two screws, as illustrated.
4.Slide adjustable link to provide clearance between brake teeth.
5.Tighten screws. Brake teeth should clear with lever swung in. With levers swung out, spring must stretch, engaging brake teeth.
6.Replace rear wheel and repeat for opposite side.
