CONTROLS
BLADE DRIVE
•Located on the operator’s right.
•To engage the mower blade, pull the knob to the ON position.
•To disengage mower blade, push the knob to OFF position.
THROTTLE CONTROL LEVER
•Located on control panel to operator’s right.
•Throttle control for engine speed.
•Throttle control should be set to MAXIMUM or wide open setting to insure adequate cooling of the engine and to maintain mower deck blade speed while mowing.

CHOKE CONTROL
•Choke for engine starting. On the 36" and 42" models, the choke is combined with the throttle. See Fig. 3. The 44" has a separate choke cable. See Fig 4.
CIRCUIT BREAKER
•Protection of the electrical system is by (1) 15 amp circuit breaker
•If circuit breaker trips, push button (lower left side of control panel ) to reset.
•If this condition repeats, consult dealer for inspection and repair
