OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
TOWING TRAILERS AND OTHER
ATTACHMENTS
Towing a trailer or other attachment that is too heavy could damage the drive or cause the mower to become unstable. Limit loads to 250 pounds (113 kg) or less with this mower.
TO FREE WHEEL MACHINE
(Unlock Transmission)
Always turn off engine before engaging or disengaging the hydro release (free wheel) lever. Never attempt to move the lever with the engine running.
Lift the seat to access release levers. Push the hydro release levers toward the rear of the machine and inward until notches lock in place on frame. (See Fig. 4) Release park brake.
To engage the
transmissions, move the—Fig. 4— release levers outward so
they return to normal position.
NOTE: Before pushing or towing tractor, transmission must be unlocked and park brake released. The tractor should never be pulled at more than 2 miles per hour (3.2 km/h) or for distances over ¼ mile (.402 km). Trailer the unit for distances over ¼ mile.
