SPARK PLUG

Level2.

Tools Required: T-Wrench. Feeler gauge. Preferably a wire gauge.

Brush.

Parts Required: SparkPlug,ChampionCJ-7YorNGKBPM-7A

1.Remove spark plug and check for fouling, worn and rounded center electrode.

2.Clean the plug or replace with a new one. DO NOT sand blast to clean. Remaining sand will damage engine.

3.Adjust spark plug gap by bending outer electrode.

Tools Required: 3/4 " Spark Plug deep socket screw driver. 4MM Allen wrench. Soft metal brush. Wooden carbon scraper.

Exhaust Port

1.Remove engine cover (A). See "Cleaning Cooling System" for step by step instructions.

2.Removemuffler.

3.Place piston at Top Dead Center (TDC) to prevent carbon/dirt from entering cylinder.

4.Inspect exhaust port for carbon buildup and clean using a wooden

carbon scraper.

NOTE

DO NOT use a metal tool to remove carbon deposits and use extreme care not to scratch piston.

5.Check that all loose carbon is removed from exhaust port.
