Basic operation

[AUDIO CONTROL] button

Turn the [AUDIO CONTROL] button to the left or right. Turn to the right: Increases the SVC setting level.

Turn to the left: Decreases the SVC setting level.IV The volume difference can be set within a range of -10 to +20.

If the battery terminals have been disconnected because of a reason such as vehicle maintenance, the SVC settings will return to their default values. If this happens, you will need to make the settings again.

Enabling the loudness control

The loudness control may be turned on to emphasize low and high frequencies at low volume levels.

Loudness compensates for the apparent weakness of low and high frequencies at low volume by boosting the bass and treble levels.

Press and hold the [AUDIO CONTROL] button until the [LOUD ON] display appears on the screen.

●To disable the loudness feature, repeat the above procedure to

display the [LOUD OFF] indication.

● Loudness control is not available when CSII is ON. In order to enable loudness control, turn OFF CSII. (For details on turning CSII ON/OFF, see page 129.)
