Configuring Your Computer

1.Configure the TCP/IP protocol stack on your computer to obtain an address automatically from the router. To do so with a PC running Windows 9x or NT, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > and click on Network.

2.Select the Configuration tab at the top of the dialog. Users with Windows NT select the Protocols tab.

3.From the list of network components, select TCP/IP.

4.Click on the Properties button.

5.Select the IP Address tab.

6.Ensure that “Obtain an IP Address Automatically” is selected. Users of Windows NT should select “Obtain an IP Address from a DHCP server”.

7.Click OK as needed to confirm your settings, and reboot your computer.
