If the equipment is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone
company may request that you disconn ect the equi pment until the problem is
resolved. Also, you will be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC
if you believe it is necessary. There are NO SERVICABLE PARTS. Please
contact Efficient Networks, Inc. This equipment is not intended for use on public
coin phone service provided by the telephone company. Connection to party line
service is subject to state tariffs. (Contact the state public utility commission,
public service commission or corporation commission for information.) The use
of this equipment may be controlled by law in you r country. This equipment is
hearing aid compatible if used on standard telephone lines with the appropriate
interface.
Modifications:
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Efficient Networks, Inc.
could void the users’ authority to operate this equipment.
Canadian RF Interference Statement
This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class B limits for radio noise
emissions from digital apparatus as set out in the radio interference regulations of
the Canadian Department of Communication.
NOTICE: The Industry Canada label identifies certified equipment. This
certification means that the equipment meets telecommunications network
protective, operational and safety requirements as prescribed in the appropriate
T erminal Equipment T echnical Requirements document(s). The Department does
not guarantee the equipment will operate to the user’s satisfaction.
Before installing this equipm ent, us ers should ensure that it is permissible to be
connected to the facilities of the local telecommunications company. The
equipment must also be installed using an acceptable method of connection. The
customer should be aware that compliance with the above conditions may not
prevent degradation of service in some situations.
Repairs to certified equipment should be coordinated by a representative
designated by the supplier. Any repairs or alte rati ons made by the user to this
equipment, or equipm ent malfunctions, may give the telecommunications
company cause to request the user to disconnect the equipment.
