storm,or when it is left unattended and unused for long

Donotuseattachmentsnot recommendedbythe
manufacturerastheymaycausehazards.
Donotplace thisprojectoron anunstablecart, stand,
ortab le. The pr oject or may fa ll, cau sing s eriou s injur y
toa child or adult, and serious damage to the projector.
Useonlywithacart orstandrecommendedbythe
manufacturer,orsoldwiththeprojector.Wall orshelf
mountingshouldfollow the manufacturer’s instructions,
andshoulduseamounting kitapprovedbythe
manufacturers.
Anapplianceandcart combination
shouldbemovedwithcare. Quick
stops,excessiveforce, anduneven
surfacesmaycause���theappliance
andcartcombinationtooverturn.
Slotsandopeningsin thebackandbottom ofthecabinet
areprovidedforventilation,toensurereliable operationof
theequipmentandtoprotectitfromoverheating.
Theopeningsshouldneverbecovered withclothorother
materials,andthe bottomopeningshould notbeblocked
byplacingtheprojectoron abed,sofa,rug,or other
similarsurface.Thisprojector shouldneverbeplaced
nearoroveraradiatororheatregister.
Thisprojectorshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt-ininstallation
suchasabookcaseunlessproperventilationisprovided.
Neverpushobjectsof anykindintothis projectorthrough
cabinetslotsastheymay touchdangerousvoltagepoints
orshortoutparts thatcouldresultina fireorelectric
shock.Neverspillliquidofanykindontheprojector.
Donot install the projector near the ventilation duct of
air-conditioningequipment.
Thisprojectorshould beoperatedonly fromthetype
ofpower source indicated on the marking label. If you
arenotsureof thetypeofpower supplied,consultyour
authorizeddealerorlocalpowercompany.
Donotoverloadwalloutletsandextension cordsasthis
canresultinfireorelectricshock.Do notallowanything
torest on the power cord. Donot locate this projector
wherethecordmaybedamagedbypersonswalkingon
it.
Donotattempttoservice thisprojectoryourselfas
openingorremovingCoversmay exposeyouto
dangerousvoltageor otherhazards.Refer allservicing
toqualifiedservicepersonnel.
Unplugthisprojectorfromwalloutletand referservicing
toqualifiedservicepersonnelunder thefollowing
conditions:
a.Whenthepowercordorplugisdamagedorfrayed.
b.Ifliquidhasbeenspilledintotheprojector.
c.Iftheprojectorhasbeenexposedtorainorwater.
d.Iftheprojectordoesnotoperatenormallybyfollowing
theoperating instructions.Adjust only those controls
that are c ove red b y the o per atin g ins tru cti ons a s
improperadjustmentof other controls may result in
damageandwill often require extensive workby a
qualifiedtechniciantorestore theprojectorto normal
operation.
e.Iftheprojector hasbeen droppedorthe cabinethas
beendamaged.
f.Whenthe projectorexhibitsadistinctchange in
performance-thisindicatesaneedforservice.
Whenreplacementpartsarerequired, besurethe
servicetechnicianhasusedreplacementpartsspecified
bythemanufacturer thathavethe samecharacteristics
astheoriginalpart. Unauthorizedsubstitutionsmay
resultinfire,electricshock,orinjurytopersons.
Uponcompletionofanyservice orrepairstothis
projector,askthe service technician to perform routine
safetychecksto determine that the projector is in safe
operatingcondition.
