3-5. Locking Operation Buttons
This function allows you to lock the setti ngs to prevent them being changed.
Procedure
1. Pre ss to turn off the monitor.
2. Hold down while pressing to t urn on the monitor.
The Lock / Unlock setting is togg led by performing the operat ion in step 2.
Note
• The followi ng operations are available even if the but tons are locked:
- Turning on or off the monitor with the Power butt on
3-6. Setting Orientation
This function allows you to change the orientat ion of the Setting menu when using the monitor screen in ver tical
display position.
Procedure
1. Choose “ Monitor Settings” in the Setting menu, and pre ss .
2. Choose “ Menu Settings” in the “Monitor Settings” menu, and pr ess .
3. Choose “O rientation” in the “Menu Settings” menu, and press .
The “Orientation” menu appea rs.
4. Select “La ndscape” or “Portrait” with or .
5. Pre ss to exit.
6. W hen selecting “Portrait”, turn the monitor sc reen 90˚ in clockwise direction.
Attention
• Be su re that the cables are correctly co nnected.
• Be su re to turn the monitor scr een after pulling up the scr een to the uppermost position of the st and and setting the
screen tilted upward.
Note
• For using t he monitor with “Portrait” posit ion, the graphics board suppor ting portrait display is re quired. When placing
the monitor in a “Portrait ” position, settings of your graph ics board need to be changed. Refer to the User’s Manual of
the graphics board for detail s.
3-7. Showing and hiding the EIZO logo
When the monitor is turne d on, the EIZO logo appears on the screen. You can choose to show or hide the display of
the EIZO logo.
Procedure
1. Choose “ Monitor Settings” in the Setting menu, and pre ss .
2. Choose “ Menu Settings” in the “Monitor Settings” menu, and pr ess .
3. Choose “L ogo” in the “Menu Settings” menu, and press .
The “Logo” menu appears.
4. Select “On” or “Of f” with or .
5. Pre ss to exit.
