properlywhenanimageisdisplayedonlyonapar tofthe
screen(commandpromptwindow,forexample)orwhena
blackbackground(wallpaper,etc.)isinuse.
• Thisfunctiondoesnotworkcorre ctlywithsomegraphics
boards.
4. No audio outpu t. •Checkwhetherthestereom inijackcableisconnected
properly.
• Checkwhethervolumeissetto0.
• CheckthesettingofthePCandtheaudioplayback
software.
• DuringDisplayPortsignalinput,che ckthe“Source”

5. (When using EcoVi ew Sense)
The images remain to be disp layed when
you move away from the monitor. / The
images do not reappear wh en you come
near it.
• Checkthesettingenvironmentofthemonitor.Presence

- Themonitorislocatedinaplaceaf fectedbywind.
- Thereissomeheatemittingdevicene arthemonitor.
- Thereissomeobstacleinfrontofthes ensor.
• Checkwhetheranydirtonthesensor.Cleanthesensor
withasoftcloth.
• Checkwhetheryouareinfrontofthemonitor.The
EcoViewSensefunctionisactivatedwhenthesenso ron
thefrontsideofthemonitordetectsthemovementofheat.
• Inthehightemperatureconditions,themoni tormaynot
recoverfromthepowersavingmode.Ifthescreenisn ot
displayedevenaftermovingthemouseorpressingany
keyonthekeyboard,turnthemonitoroffandonusingits
powerbutton.Whenthescreenisdisplayed,increas ethe
detectionsensitivityvalue(see“4-4.Sett ingthepower
savingmodewhenapersonleavesthemonitor”(page33)).
6. USB devices conn ected to the monitor do
not work.
• CheckwhethertheUSBcableisconnec tedcorrectly(see
“6-5.MakingUseofUSB(UniversalSerialBus)”(page46)).
• ChangetheUSBporttoanotherone.IfthePCo r

• RebootthePC.

• CheckthePC’sBIOSsettingforUSBwhenusing
