6-1. How to Attach the Optional Arm

An optional arm (or an optional stand) can be attache d by removing the stand section.
Attention
• When at taching an arm or stand , follow the instructions of their u ser’s manual.
• When usi ng another manufacture r’s arm or stand, conrm the followin g in advance and select one conformi ng to the VESA
standard. Use the screws secur ing the unit and the stand.
-Clearance between the screw holes: 100 mm × 100 mm
-Thickness of plate: 2.6 mm
-Strong enough to support weight of the monitor u nit (except the stand) and attachment s such as cables.
• When usi ng another manufacture r’s arm or stand, use the screws as descr ibed below.
-Screws supplied with this product (M4 × 12 mm)
• When usi ng an arm or stand, atta ch it to meet the following tilt angles of the monitor.
-Up 60˚, down 45˚
• Do not tur n the monitor in the vertical d irection.
• Connect t he cables after attaching a n arm or stand.
• The monitor a nd arm or stand are heavy. Dropping t hem may result in injury or equip ment damage.

Procedure

1. Lay the LCD monitor on a soft cloth spread over on a stable surface with the

panel surface facing down.

Remove the stand.

Prepare a screwdriver. Loosen the screws (four) securing the unit and t he stand with the screwdriver.

3.

Remove the adapter.

Loosen the screws (four) securing the adapter to the unit u sing the screwdriver.

4.

Attach the arm or stand to the monitor.

Secure the monitor to the arm or stand usi ng the screws specied in the user’s manual of the arm or stand.
