Temperature
Color temperature is a method to measure the wh ite color tone, generally indicated in degrees Kelvin. The
screen becomes reddish at a low temperature, and bluish at a h igh temperature, like the ame tempe rature.
5000K: Slightly reddish white
6500K: White referred to as daylight-balanced color
9300K: Slightly bluish white
TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling)
TMDS is one of the signal transmission methods for the digit al interface.
VESA DPM (Video Electronics Standards Association - Display Power
Management)
VESA specications achieve increased energy efciency for computer mon itors. This involves
standardization of signals sent from the computer (g raphics board).
DPM denes the status of signals transmitt ed between the computer and monitor.
