TOP PANEL
The top panel is divided into four sections. The upper left section contains the flex faders with
their flash and page select buttons. The upper right section contains the 48 multi-purpose
number switches with their function select switches just above. The lower left section contains
the playback masters with their flash and page select buttons. The lower right section contains
the display with cursor buttons, joystick, data wheels and performance switches.
The following is a brief summary of the top panel features of the Show Designer 3:
Programming and memory switch section in the upper right, featuring 48 multi purpose
switches for assigning and recalling memories, selecting fixtures and other functions using
the function select switches.
Display section in the lower right, featuring 8 menu control buttons above an 80 character
display used for data entry and most programming functions.
Joystick for controlling pan and tilt on moving light fixtures.
4 rotary encoder wheels for data entry and channel control.
Live performance control section featuring 8 switches for various performance functions.
Flex fader section in the upper left, featuring eight 100mm faders for control of light
fixture channels, conventional dimmers or for use as additional playbacks.
Playback masters in the lower left, featuring eight 100mm faders that can be programmed
as playbacks for any of the memories.
Grand master fader for overall control of conventional dimmers and dimming channels.
Flex master fader for control of conventional dimmers.
