Design Beam 300™
©Elation Professional, Los Angeles Ca. 30 www.ElationLighting.com
This function allows Design Beam 300s and Design Spot 250s to be implemented
together in the same rig. There are two different settings, “Quick” and “Slow.” Slow
will move the gobo wheel at a speed that matches the first generation Design Spot
250. The “Quick” setting will advance the wheel at a new, faster rate than the original
Design Spot 250. “Quick” is the default setting.
8.4.3 Fans Control - This function is used to change the functionality of the internal
cooling fans. The available selections are: 1) “AUTO” – The fans will automatically
switch between low and high speeds depending on the internal operating temperature. 2)
“HIGH” – The fans will run in high-speed mode regardless of operating temperature. 3)
“LOW” – The fans will remain in low speeds regardless of internal operating
temperature.
8.4.4 Display Settings – The display is designed to turn off during normal operation to
avoid excessive light in situations that require an extremely dark environment. This
function will adjust the time delay the fixture will before it turns off. This function is
disabled as default.
8.4.5 Temperature C/F – This function changes the temperature the unit will display
from either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Celsius is set as default.
8.4.6 Initial effect – This function allows a user to create and assign a custom “Home
Position” into the fixture. Adjusting the Pan and Tilt values then locking those values into
the fixture’s internal memory creates the new “Home” position.
8.4.7 Wireless DMX – This function will control all aspects of the build-in wireless DMX
receiver. See page 41 for detailed operating instructions.
8.4.8 Restore Default – This function is used to restore the factory settings of the
device. All settings will be set back to the default values (shaded). Any edited scenes will
be lost.
