Initial use
0Insert plug into mains socket.
0Turn the temperature regulator to the desired setting with the aid of a coin. The green pilot light illuminates. The compressor starts and then runs automatically.
A warning tone sounds and the red warning light flashes indicating that the required storage temperature has not yet been reached.
0Press the WARNING OFF button to switch off the warning tone.
3The warning light and warning tone switch off automatically when the temperature in the freezer compartment drops again and returns to the setting of the temperature regulator.
0Press the fast freeze button. The yellow fast freeze light illuminates. The red warning light remains illuminated until the required temperature has been reached.
0After the storage temperature has been reached, press the fast freeze button again to switch off the fast freeze function. The yellow light goes out.
The red warning light and the warning tone signal an alarm
–if the appliance door is left open too long;
–if the temperature in the freezer compartment is too warm;
–if there is a malfunction in the cooling system.
The following effects are of significance in respect of the interior tem- perature:
–Ambient temperature;
–Quantity and temperature of the food stored;
–Frequency with which the door is opened and how long it is left open.
