. This hob is intended for domestic cooking only. It

purposes.
. The appliance gets hot when in use. Incase of ca-
reless handlingthereisdangerofburning one-
selfat the heatingzones.
. Do not use the cooking zones to heat the room.
. Take care when plugging electrical items into
mains socketsnearthe hob.Connecting leads
mustnotcomeintoconnection withthe hot
surface orvessels.
. Hot oils can ignite very quickly. Do not leave the
hob unattendedwhen preparing foodsin pansof
oil,i.e. frying chips.
. The sensor technique provides best--possible sa-
fetywiththemanipulation of the appliance,butt o
the same extentitneedscarewhen setting coo-
king zones,outputorperiodsoftime.
. After use make sure that the appliance is
switched off.
Safetywhencleaning
. Ensure that all heating zones are switched off
whilecleaningthe hob.
. Forsafetyreasonsdonot cleantheappliancewith
asteamjetorhighpressurecleaner.
Howtoavoid damaging yourappliance
. Do not use the hob surface as a working surface
orforstorage.
. Do not use the cooking zones with empty pans or
withoutpans.This couldcause damage tothe
pansorthe hob.
. Ceramic glassis insensitiveto temperatureshock
and veryrobust, however,itisnotunbreakable.
Hardand sharp objects,inparticular,candamage
the cooking surfaceif theyfallon it.
. Do not use cast iron pots or pans with damaged
basesthatarerough orburred.Scratching may
occurwhen the pansareslid.
. Do not place any pans on the hob frame. Scrat-
ching may occur or the paint damaged.
. Ensure that liquids containing acids, e.g. vinegar,
lemon limescaleremoving agentsdo notcome
intocontactwiththe hob frame,otherwisematt
spotswill appear.
. If sugaroradishcontainingsugarcomesintocon-
tactwith a hotcooking zone andthen melts,re-
movethe soiling immediatelywhilststill warm,
using a glass scraper.I f itcools,damage tothe
surfacemayoccur.
. Keep all items and materials that melt away from
the ceramicglass surface,e.g.plastics,alumi-
niumfoiloroven foils. If something of thisnature
shouldmeltontothe ceramicglass surface,it
mustberemoved immediatelyusinga glass scra-
per.
