Standard guarantee conditions
We,Electrolux,undertakethatifwithin 12 monthsof
the date of the purchasethisElectroluxappliance or
anypart thereofisproved to be defective byreason
onlyof faultworkmanshipor materials,wewill,atour
optionrepairor replacethe sameFREE OFCHARGE
forlabour,materialsorcarriage on conditionthat:
. Theappliancehasbeencorrectlyinstalledandused
onlyon the electricity supply statedon the rating
plate.
. The appliance has been used for normal domestic
purposesonly,andin accordancewiththe manu-
facturer’sinstructions.
. The appliance has not been serviced, maintained
repared, taken apartortamperedwith anyperson
notauthorisedbyus.
. All service work under this guarantee must be
undertakenbyan ElectroluxServiceForceCenter.
. Any appliance or defective part replaced shall
becometoCompany’sproperty.
. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory and
otherlegalrights.
Homevisitsaremade between8.30 amand 5.30 pm
MondaytoFriday.Visitsmaybe available outside
these hoursinwhichcasea premiumwill be charged.
Exclusions
Thisguarantee does notcover:
. Damage or calls resulting from transportation,
improperuse orneglect, the replacementofany
lightbulbsorremovable partsofglass orplastic.
. Costs incurred for calls to put right an appliance
whichisimproperlyinstalledorcallsto appliances
outside the UnitedKingdom.
. Appliances found to be in use within a commercial
environment,plusthosewhich aresubjectedtoren-
talagreements.
. Products of Electrolux manufacture which are not
marketed byElectrolux.
EuropeanGuarantee
If you shouldmoveto anothercountrywithinEurope
thenyourguarantee moveswithyou toyournewhome
subject tothe followingqualifications:
. The guarantee starts from the date you first purcha-
sed yourproduct.
. The guarantee is for the same period and to the
same extent forlabourand partsasexistsinthe
newcountryofuseforthisbrandor range ofpro-
ducts.
. This guarantee relates to you and cannot be trans-
ferred to anotheruser.
. Your new home is within the European community
(EC)orEuropeanFree Trade Area.
. The product is installed and used in accordance
with ourinstructionsandisonlyused domestically,
i.e.a normalhousehold.
. The product is installed taking into account regula-
tionsinyournewcountry.
Beforeyou move pleasecontactyournearestCusto-
merCareCenter,listedbelow, to givethemdetailsof
yournewhome.Theywill then ensurethat the local
ServiceOrganisationisaware ofyour move and able
tolookafteryourappliances.
