General information

The cooking surfaceismadeofproven ceramicglass
and consistsof4cooking zones.The rapid glowing
cooking zonesare especiallyefficientradiantheating
elementswhichwillconsiderablyreducethe duration
ofheating-- up.
The cooking surfaceisinsensitivetorapidchan-
gesintemperature.Potscan therefore be moved
froma hot tocoldzone.
When switchingonacookingzone you mayhear
ashortbuzz.Thatisacharacteristicofallceramic
glasscooking zonesanddoesnotimpairthefunc-
tion orthe lifetimeof the appliance.
Always putpotsandpansontothe cooking zone
beforeswitchingon.

HeatControlKnobs

The controlknobsregulatetheheating capacityof the
cooking zones.
The controlknobsforthecooking zone can be turned
tothe left and tothe right tothedesired position.
1=minimumsetting
12 =maximumsetting.
Setting itback toOturnsoffthe cooking zone.
Always putpansorpotsonthe cooking zones,before
switching on.

Residualheatindicator

Eachcookingzone isrelated to one indicator.Thewar-
ninglamplightsup when the surface of the correspon-
dingcooking zone reachesatemperaturewhichcould
cause burns.
Thislightremainslitaftertherelevantarea hasbeen
switchedoff aslong asthe residualheatof the corres-
pondingcookingsurfacecan cause burns.Thelightwill
go outwhen thetemperaturefallsbelow60 oC.
