Before use
·Remove all securing tapes.
·Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5ml to
0.5litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Do not use detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products, wax, polishes or products containing alcohol.
Check that the drain hose is located over the drip bowl behind the refrigerator. Also ensure that the drain hose is connected to the box. See the illustration.

Using the fridge
standing upright for about 30 minutes, or for 2 hours if it was transported horizontally. Otherwise the com- pressor may sustain damage. This time will allow the oil sufficient time to return to the compressor.
To start the fridge and thermostat control
Switching on:
Switch on the fridge by pressing the power switch.
Setting the temperature
Press the buttons until the desired temperature flashes in the temperature display (The temperature can be set between +2°C and +8°C.)
"+" raises the temperature.
Once set, the temperature display shows
