AUTO MODES
Melt, soften automatically computes the correct
heating time and microwave power level for melting
and softening foods shown in the chart.
There are 4 foods (butter, chocolate, ice cream and
cream cheese) under the melt, sof ten.

• Suppose you want to mel t 1 square of chocolate.
Procedure

Use a Pyrex measuring cup. Cover with plastic wrap. Stir after cooking.
After touching the melt, soften pad, touch number 1 t wo times for 2 tbsp.
After touching the melt, soften pad, touch number 1 thre e times for 1/2 cup.
After touching the melt, soften pad, touch number 2 t wo times for 1 cup chips.
After touching the melt, soften pad, touch number 2 th ree times for 1 square.

or 0.085 kg.
After touching the melt, soften pad, touch number 4 thre e times for 8 oz
or 0.225 kg
