Major Appliance Warranty Information
Your appliance is covered by a on e year limited warrant y. For one year from your ori ginal date of purchase, Electrolux will repair
or replace any pa rts of this a ppliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship whe n such appliance is installed,
used, and maintained in accorda nce with the provided instructi ons. In addition, the magnetron tub e of your appliance is covered
by a two through five year lim ited warranty. During the 2nd through 5th years fr om your original date of p urchase, Electrolux w ill
provide a replacemen t magnetron tube for your applianc e which has pr oven to be defecti ve in materials o r workmanship wh en
your appliance is installed, use d, and maintained in accorda nce with the provided instructi ons.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the follow ing:
1. Products with original serial nu mbers that have been removed, alte red or cannot be readily determi ned.
2. Product that has been transfer red from its original owner to anoth er party or removed outsid e the USA or Canada.
3. Rust on the interior or exterior of the un it.
4. Products purchased “as-is” are not covered by this warranty.
5. Food loss due to any refrigerator or freezer failures.
6. Products used in a commercial setting.
7. Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in mate rials or workmanship, or for app liances not in ordinar y
household use or used other than in a ccordance with the provided in structions.
8. Service calls to correct the installation of your appliance or to i nstruct you how to use your applianc e.
9. Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing, such as removal of trim, cupboards, shelves , etc., which are not
a part of the appliance when it is shi pped from the factory.
10. S ervice calls to repair or replace appliance light bulbs, air filters, water filters, other consu mables, or knobs, handles, or other
cosmetic parts.
11. L abor or in-home service costs dur ing the additional limited warranty per iods beyond the first year from your original date of
purchase.
12. Pi ckup and delivery costs; your ap pliance is designed to be repa ired in the home.
13. S urcharges including, but not limited to, any after ho ur, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferr y trip charges, or mileage
expense for service calls to remo te areas, including the state of Ala ska.
14. D amages to the finish of applian ce or home incurred during t ransportation or inst allation, including but not lim ited to floors,
cabinets, walls, etc.
15. D amages caused by: service s performed by unauthorized service c ompanies; use of parts other than ge nuine Electrolux
parts or parts obta ined from persons other than authorized service companies; or external causes such as abuse, misus e,
inadequate power supply, accidents, fire s, or acts of God.

PROVIDED HEREIN. CLAIM S BASED ON IMPL IED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRA NTIES OF MERCH ANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULA R PURPOSE, ARE LIM ITED TO ONE YEAR OR THE SHORTEST PERIO D ALLOWED BY LAW,
BUT NOT LESS THAN ONE YEAR . ELECTROLUX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FO R CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
SUCH AS PROPERTY DAMAGE AND INCID ENTAL EXPENSES RESULTING FROM ANY BRE ACH OF THIS WR ITTEN LIMITED
WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THESE
LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WRITTEN WARRANT Y GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGH TS.
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
If You Need Service
Keep your receipt, delivery slip, or some othe r appropriate payment record to establish t he warranty p eriod should service be
required. If serv ice is perfor med, it is in your best intere st to obtain a nd keep all re ceipts. Service under this war ranty must be
obtained by contacting Electrol ux at the addresses or phone numb ers below.
This warranty only applies in the U SA, Puerto Rico and Canada. In the USA a nd Puerto Rico, your ap pliance is warranted by
Electrolux Major Appliance s North America, a divis ion of Electrolux Home Produc ts, Inc. In Canada, your applia nce is warranted
by Electrolux Canada Corp. Electrolu x authorizes no person to change o r add to any obligations under this warra nty. Obligations
for service and parts under this warrant y must be performed by Electrolux or an authorize d service company. Product features or
specifications as describe d or illustrated are subject to ch ange without notice.
