9.Carefully cut the blue wire going to the light switch. Strip off 1/2-inch of insulation and connect this blue wire to the blue wire from the light fixture (Figure

21)using a wire connector (supplied).

10.Carefully cut the white wire going to the two-wire connector. Strip off 1/2-inch of insulation and connect this white wire to the white wire from the light fixture (Figure 21) using a wire connector (supplied).

11.Engage the connector from the light adapter plate with the connector from the motor assembly (Figure 15). The two connectors are keyed and color-coded and must be mated correctly (color-to-color) before they can be engaged. Make sure the connector latch closes properly.

12.Position the light adapter plate over the light fixture mounting plate. The adapter plate switches must be located in the recessed portion of the mounting plate (Figure 15). Align the holes in the adapter plate with the holes in the mounting plate and install four 5/32-32 x 5/16” Phillips flat head screws (supplied) (Figure 22).

13. Cut the speed control switch pull chain to your desired length (optional). Connect the wood pendant (supplied) to the pull chain by sliding the wood pendant (small hole first) onto the pull chain (Figure 22). Then attach a chain coupling (supplied) to the end of the chain and allow the pendant to slide down over the coupling.

Using Your Ceiling Fan
