Auto Operation

If the flashlight AUTO/OFF switch is left in the “AUTO” position the flashlight will turn on automatically when it is removed from the cradle. It will also turn on automatically if the AC power is interrupted.

When you return the flashlight to the charging cradle, or when AC power is restored, the flashlight will turn ‘Off’automatically.

Manual Operation

If the flashlight AUTO/OFF switch is left in the “OFF ” position the flashlight will remain off until you remove it from the cradle and press the AUTO /OFF switch to the “AUTO” (On) position. When you are finished using the flashlight you may shut it off manually by pressing the AUTO/OFF switch to the “OFF” position. Or you may just return the flashlight to its cradle and it will shut off automatically.

Remember that if the AUTO /OFF switch is left in the “OFF ” position the flashlight will not turn on automatically when it is removed from the cradle and it will not turn on automatically in the event of a power failure.

Notes:

When fully charged the flashlight should provide up to ‘8 hours’of continuous operation before the battery is exhausted.

When fully discharged the flashlight should be recharged in its cradle for ‘14-16 hours’to return the battery to its fully charged condition.

The battery is being charged whenever the flashlight is in the charging cradle, regardless of the position of the AUTO /OFF switch.
