PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpacking And Set Up
•Remove the flashlight and the radio from the carton and remove all packing materials from both components. We suggest that you save the carton and packing materials if possible in the event that your unit ever needs to be returned for service. Using the original carton and packing materials is the only way to protect your unit from damage in shipment.
•Place the flashlight in the charging cradle as shown. Push the back end of the flashlight into the charging tube in the direction of the arrow as shown until the front end of the flashlight is positioned behind the flashlight retaining tab. This tab holds the flashlight in the charging tube. The flashlight must be held in this position in order for charging to begin.

IMPORTANT: The flashlight must be charged in the charging cradle for 24 hours before initial use. When the radio is connected to the AC outlet and the flashlight is properly positioned in the charging cradle the Red “Charging” indicator in the flashlight AUTO 
/OFF 
switch comes ‘on’.
