Setting The Clock

When the system is connected to an AC outlet the time display will show a flashing “AM 12:00 ”.

This is your indication that the time is incorrect and needs to be set.

Note: Although it is not necessary to set the clock in order to listen to the radio or CD player, the clock must be set correctly if you intend to use the timer to turn the system ‘On’and ‘Off’automatically.

Set the clock as follows:

1.) Press the MEMORY button on front panel or on remote control once.

The ‘Hour’digits begin flashing.

2.) Repeatedly press the or buttons on front panel or remote control to adjust the display to the correct hour, AM or PM.

3.) Press the MEMORY button again to set the hour.

The ‘Minute’digits begin to flash.

4.) Repeatedly press the or buttons on front panel or remote control to adjust the display to the correct minute.

5.) Press the MEMORY button again.

Only the colon “ : ” continues flashing.

The clock begins to run.
