To start the system diagnostics program, follow these steps:1.Insert the Reference diskette in drive A.2.Turn on or reset the computer. The OPERATION MENUappears.3. Press 4 reset System diagnostics and then

press Enter.

When you start the system diagnostics, the computer checks the following:The positions of the internal jumpersAny peripheral devices that are connected to the system.

After these items are checked, you see a list of the devices available for testing. This list includes only the devices that are installed in your system and looks something like this:

Is the DEVICE LIST correct (Y/N)?

If the list correctly describes your system, press Y and then Enter. If a device is missing from this list, or if you wish to change the list, press N and Enter.
