Selecting Settings
You need to scan using the tab for the type of image you are scanning (Photo or OCR/Line Art) and check the basic settings.
Scanning Photographs
1Select the Photo tab.
2Select the correct Image Type setting. Select one of the following options: Color Photo or Black and White Photo.
