Inserting the memory card
A memory card is required when using the EasyMP functions.

Memory cards that can be used

The following memory cards which are compatible with the Type II ATA standard can be used.
·Compact flash (a PC card adapter is required during mounting)
·Smart media (a PC card adapter is required during mounting)
·Memory stick (a PC card adapter is required during mounting)
·ATA fla sh c ard
·Micro drive (a PC card adapter is required when mounting.)

Method of insertion

Set the memory card in the card adapter.
Refer to the card adapter's instruction manual for details on the direction it should be
inserted.

Insert the memory card set in the card adapter into the projector's PCMCIA card slot.
Insert the card firmly to the back, as shown in the illustration.
Point
·The card will not be able to be inserted to the back if it is inserted back to front. Do not
apply excessive force in this case.
·The access lamp for the PCMCIA card slot will change as follows:
Extinguished: Access not achieved or the card has not been inserted.
Illuminated in orange: Access achieved.(Do not remove the memory card while it is being
accessed.)
Illuminated in red: A non-usable card has been inserted.
·FAT12/16 formatted memory cards can be recognized.
·Depending on the manufacturer, there are smart media adapters that are write-protected
and malfunction when an attempt is made to write in them. Ensure that the write-protect
has been released prior to using smart media.
