6.Detach the shield plate from the back of the lower case. This plate is firmly wedged into place; to remove it gently pull out on the side of the printer case until there is enough of a gap to remove the plate.

7.Using a cross-head screwdriver, remove the screw labelled CG from the main board. Then set it aside in a safe place.
